Andrew Strauss: 100 not out

All the stories might be around Kevin Pietersen and his "totes hilare bants" ahead of tomorrow's Third Test with the South Africans, but England's captain takes to the field at Lord's for his 100th Test for his country. To celebrate - in our own unique way - we've dug out some of our favourite moments in the England leader's career. Happy Hundredth Straussy!

(PS. check out our 'real' preview of the Third Test here)

Battering the Aussies

The Oval, 2005, and Strauss had the Aussies scampering all over the place when he notched up his seventh Test hundred, finishing on 129 runs. Relive his glorious knock here.

What a take!

Andrew Flintoff bowls, Strauss stretches out of the slips to take a beautiful full length, one-handed take. Even better, look how young the duo are. Halcyon days!

To you, to me...

Watch as Strauss and Trott get themselves in an awful mess and both end up at the same end. Straussy ends up walking because Trott beat him to the crease. Shambolic. Luckily, England don't do stupid things these da... oh.

Walking on broken glasses

Wonderful stuff from the skipper here as he manages to break his sunglasses in the coolest of fashions. The best bit is the whole team in stitches around him. Enjoy.
